Kick Start

To provide the best coaches and produce the best players we can, alongside educating parents to be the best they possibly can on the sidelines.

From the tender age of 4, Kick Start can provide the fun factor with football. We will aim to provide tremendous facilities and give each player the best coaching to develop their football skills.

By investing in our coaches this will ensure the footballers we produce will be equipped to play the beautiful game.

Sandhurst Town Boys & Girls Football Club's philosophy is to “focus on the development of our players above performance” and our style of play is “pass and move”

The Club motto is AD LIBITUM (at leisure); this speaks volumes for our overall approach to coaching football. This is not a horizontal's simply provide the structure, enable the game to be played and allow the players to flourish.

Note: We will work with players to ascertain their playing level and then form teams to foster further progression from U8. The game takes time to learn and as a community club there is a place for all.

Finally, we’ll ensure football is played in a safe and fun environment where every player, coach, referee and guardian feels valued and is protected by our established code of conduct. On joining you should all read and respect the code.

Kick Start is a 10 session program of structured football training, delivered by a team of FA qualified coaches, all of whom are parents of the Kickstart children. The sessions are primarily to help the children gain confidence in playing football, interacting with other players & improve their agility and core skills, whilst maintaing a fun and social atmosphere.

We carry out our training sessions on a Sunday morning 9-10am on the pitches near the coffee spot (Sandhurst Memorial Park). The fee for 10 sessions is £40 (payment at the start, helps ensure people turn up, if they don’t they lose £40. Plus there is a one off £20 registration fee (this provides the players with a t-shirt, boot bag, water bottle, woolly hat and socks). There is a £15 discount for siblings.

Our Kickstart sessions have just re-started at 9am Sunday mornings at the Memorial Park pitches.
