Arsenal FC Celebs v STBGFC Vets - Sun 19th Sept...full details on website....   ||    LEWIS MARSH ENTRY OPEN   ||

Welcome to Sandhurst......

Welcome to the official website of Sandhurst Town Boys & Girls F.C. We formed in 1980 to provide football facilities for the young people of the Sandhurst area. This year in 2010, STBGFC will celebrate 30 years in football - but we are not a club to stand still, we will simply strive to improve all aspects of providing football to our local community.

In August (29th and 30th) we will be holding our annual pre-season tournament in memory of Lewis Marsh.

18th September, Tony Hadley will be holding a concert in Sandhurst.

On Sunday 19th September - possibly dehydrated from the night before....we are hosting Arsenal Celebrities. Big names like Angus Deyton, Ronnie O'Sullivan and a long list of ex players will be there on the day. Keep popping back for further details.

Our club facilities consists of football pitches owned by Sandhurst Town Council which we utilise for both midweek and weekend matches together with over 10 sets of changing rooms. The original changing facilities were built by ourselves and extended in 1988 entirely through our own resources.

Since its formation, many hundreds of youngsters have enjoyed learning, developing and honing their football skills at Sandhurst, in the spirit of teamwork and having fun! In fact, we've had a few full time professionals come through. Jamie Ashdown (Pompey), Paul Mckinnon (Blackburn) and Martin Kuhl(Reading) all played with the Red and white of Sandhurst. Who will be next Star to come through the ranks.

STBGFC have many coaches who played for the boys & girls club, this offers continuity and adds to the history of the club.

Finally, all the managing, coaching, administrative and support work is voluntary and we recognise the huge commitment given over the years by so many of our local community.

So, If you would like to join STBGFC, or can offer help in any way, please visit the contact section and fill out our enquiry form for more information.

Best Wishes,

John
